The Los Angeles Times and Samy's Camera co-sponsored the Capture LA Photo Contest to help celebrate Samy's Camera's 40 years of business in Los Angeles. Photographers were encouraged to submit a photo which they felt captured the feel of LA. Entries were accepted in three categories which included Nature & Environment, Architecture and Daily Life.
