The Westcott Ice Light 2 LED Light is a lightweight, dimmable daylight balanced continuous LED light source with a built-in battery. It was designed by world-renowned photographer and lecturer Jerry Ghionis for multiple uses including photography and videography.

Westcott made the light 50% brighter while maintaining its 21.6 x 7.5" form factor and rendering color-accurate output with a very high CRI of 96. Ten-step dimming is accessed via the unit's handle which has a built-in digital display. The light also has a USB port and built-in Bluetooth technology.

For videographers, Westcott has doubled their efforts to produce a truly flicker-free fixture. A removable Lithium-ion battery is yet another Ice Light 2 refinement. A 2.5-hour charge gives you 60+ minutes of run time with the convenience of being able to charge a backup battery outside of the fixture. You can also double your run time by attaching an optional power pack battery extension. It uses the same charger as the Ice Light 2. Like Its predecessor, the Ice Light 2 is virtually heat-free. Hold it as close as you want to your subject; the closer you get the more Ice Light's wrap-around quality of light becomes evident. Since it's virtually heat-free you never have to worry about injuring the talent or damaging the set.

Cutting-Edge Technology: The Ice Light features the latest Lithium Ion battery technology and can be run both AC or DC power. Batteries are built into the lightweight 1.3 lb. design and can run for a full 60 minutes at full power. Fast charge times are less than 2.5 hours. Plug the Ice Light into any standard power outlet and run continuously (while charging the unit).
Soft, Even Daylight Color: The LED array combined with the diffused front face provides extremely soft and even, wrap-around light. This eliminates the need for additional light-modifying tools. The LEDs are true daylight color and rated for over 50,000 hours of use.
Perfect for Travel: Ergonomic design allows for single-handed operation and requires no additional mounting accessories. Both ends of the Ice Light incorporate a 1/4"-20-thread with the option of mounting to a light stand, tilter bracket or mini tripod. The included carry case with shoulder and belt strap make going on-location a breeze. The Ice Light fits inside most regulation carry-on luggage. Multi voltage 100-240v allows for adaptability when traveling internationally.
All-in-One Solution: Attach a gel using the included gel clips to easily go from Daylight to Tungsten or add color for more dramatic results. The Ice Light includes the battery charger/power cord, 2 gel clips and carry case.
